Our mission is to simplify how companies employ the best talent globally, and help remote organizations do their best work. Remote was founded in early 2019 by Job van der Voort and Marcelo Lebre to simplify how companies employ global talent. Our entire team is working remotely from their chosen location. We don’t have any offices and believe that people can do their best work anywhere in the world. If you're interested to learn more about how we run our company, check out our public Handbook.
At Spot Meetings, our goal is to help professionals find a better balance between work and life. We believe in a world where you can have productive, collaborative, virtual interactions with coworkers while doing things that promote a healthier, happier you. We believe that the ability to take your meetings on the move increases engagement, sparks creativity, and decreases burnout. Whether you are a walker, a pacer or a sun-seeker - we created Spot for you. Spot co-founders, Greg Caplan and Hans Petter (HP) Eikemo, were working remotely before working remotely was the cool thing to do. From the beginning, they’ve been finding ways to hack digital tools to continue to lead productive, efficient, and collaborative remote teams. While they, and their employees, were enjoying the freedoms that come with remote working, there were some challenges. Challenges that all boiled down to communication.
